Reception and Video Screening: Female Condoms and HIV Prevention for Women

Busboys and Poets, Cullen Room, First Floor 1025 5th Street NW Washington, DC, 20001 / June 28, 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM

Join us for an evening of conversation, networking with female condom advocates from Zambia and Zimbabwe, and the premiere of Choosing Prevention, a documentary made during a participatory video workshop with women in Malawi. The workshop gave women cameras and empowered them to tell their own stories about the female condom and HIV/AIDS prevention. The 15 minute film explains, in the women's own words, why female condoms are imperative for women's health.
